Greenville, S.C. – GMC has opened a geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing laboratory in Mauldin, South Carolina. The new lab will allow the firm to better serve current clients in Greenville and the surrounding areas, in addition to providing the support needed to expand its regional client base.
“We are excited to expand our geotechnical services to Greenville and the South Carolina region,” Kevin Wales, GMC Vice President of Geotechnical and Construction Services, said. “The growth our Greenville office has experienced over the last few years has enabled us to offer geotechnical and testing services locally, and in turn, more efficiently.”
The geotechnical lab will be led by Construction Services Manager Mark Smith. “Mark brings considerable construction materials testing and inspection expertise that will greatly benefit our existing clients,” Wales said. “We are confident in his leadership and ability to deliver the quality of services our firm strives to provide.”
The Greenville geotechnical lab is located at 124 Old Mill Road, Suite K, Mauldin, S.C. 29607. Regional Vice President Kevin Laird leads the firm’s South Carolina region, which includes offices in Greenville and Columbia.
